No fabrication - the banner is trimmed. Results in an unfinished look with
edges that can rip and mangle. |
 |
Hems alone strengthen the banner while giving it a finished look. The rough
edges are folded 1 inch and sewn giving it a professional finish while reducing
the possibility of tattered edges. This would be used if the banner will
be displayed on a flat surface or pinned to a wall. |

Grommets are small metal eyelets that are inserted into the corners and
hems of your banner (1 grommet per three linear feet). Rope or bungee cord
can then be inserted through the grommets for quick installation. Grommets
are not recommended without hems. |
 |
The standard finishing option is to utilize hems and grommets. Together
they add strength and durability while allowing for easy installation. |
 |
Durable nylon rope is sewn into the top and bottom hems of your banner with
4-foot leads at either end for quick installation. |
 |
A popular fabrication option. To create pole pockets, we sew a 3" open
hem along the top and bottom edges of your banner. You can then easily insert
a wooden dowel or a piece of PVC pipe through the pocket for quick and easy
banner installation. |
 |
To reinforce banners that will be exposed to outdoor conditions for extended
periods of time, webbing is highly recommended. A 1-inch piece of nylon
is sewn into the banner hem, strengthening the edges and lending itself
to lasting durability. |
 |
A Velcro strip can be sewn into the banners hemmed backside. An adhesive-backed
hook Velcro strip is supplied to match. This finishing is not intended for
large outdoor banners. This process is recommended for stadium field walls
or trade shows. |
