Our in-house screen-printing department utilizes both existing and new technology
in a complimentary blend. Four-color process UV screen printing machines are combined
with several spot color tables to create each product .
Images can be produced in full coverage ink or half tones depending on the fabric.
We can produce any number of products at any size requested. Flag Crafters can
work from your design or allow our in-house graphics department to assist with
the creative process and design.
Flag Crafters employs the latest techniques and applications ensuring customer
satisfaction and high quality workmanship.
Digital art is separated into four process colors, CYMK. An image setter first
produces full-size film positives. Once it is coupled with a screen, they are
both treated with a chemical allowing it to be developed in a dark room. Each
individual color is printed with UV inks and then sent through a UV dryer, embedding
each color into the film.
Four-color process printing can create visually stunning
replications of art and photography.
Full coverage screen-printing and half tones are produced on vinyl and Pyrotone.
Halftones tend to be more expensive, printing 25 dots per inch. Bleed off onto
the sides and sleeve is also an additional cost. Please provide layouts when requesting
a quote for these processes.
Spot-colors and 4-color processing are very similar to each other. The main difference
is the colors used. Spot coloring utilizes only one color (usually a PMS color),
whereas the 4-color process creates each dye from CYMK.
